This song is a suicide story, my brother took his life several years ago and this song tells the story of what they leave behind: the years of grief and pain of family and friends. The motivation in writing this song is to bring awareness to what family and friends go through when someone they love takes their own life. It is my hope that in putting this out there, if someone ever gets to that dark point, the knowledge of what that decision does to the loved ones will help change their mind.
